Earth Medicine School
The medicine cannot be erased.
A living manifesto for Earth Medicine School
Earth Medicine School begins with a refusal: to accept that disconnection, exhaustion and the silencing of our own knowing must be the price of belonging.
It begins with a remembrance: we are living beings, part of a living Earth. Our bodies, voices, emotions and capacity for relationship matter.
And it begins with a question:
What becomes possible when we no longer have to abandon ourselves to remain safe, loved or accepted?
The fire and the voice
In a past-life regression, I encountered a village burning, a family persecuted and the terror of being silenced. I experienced a message from those I understood as my ancestors: use your voice to honour those whose voices were taken.
I carry this encounter as a spiritual experience that has given meaning to my own fear of visibility, my encounters with silencing and my decision to speak.
The history of witch trials and persecution gives this image a wider resonance. I honour those who suffered, without claiming to know every life or story behind that suffering.
For me, remembrance asks something of the living.
It asks how we make room for voices that have been dismissed. How we hold difference without punishment. How we practise power without requiring another person’s submission.
I want to tend a fire around which we can gather, speak and belong.
The body is living territory
There are ways of living that teach us to override ourselves: to keep producing through exhaustion, conceal anger, distrust intuition and become acceptable by becoming smaller.
These pressures take different forms in different lives. They can shape how we work, love, lead and inhabit our bodies.
Here, we begin by listening.
We meet protective patterns with respect for what they helped us survive. We make room for what they have held: grief, anger, longing, tenderness, boundaries and the words we could not speak.
Beneath those layers, we may also encounter our inner gold—the gifts, vitality, creativity and truth that have been waiting for room to live.
We do not build capacity only to hold more pain. We build capacity to receive more life.
Joy, pleasure, rest and intimacy belong within this return.
Remembering the feminine
Earth Medicine School honours feminine wisdom: the capacity to listen, receive, gestate, create and move with life’s cycles.
It honours tenderness alongside discernment, pleasure alongside boundaries, and the courage to end what can no longer sustain life.
This wisdom is available to people of all genders. We honour the particular histories of women while making space for everyone whose emotional, intuitive or relational life has been constrained.
The Mother is a sacred presence within my work: an invitation into holding, belonging and relationship with the living Earth.
Each person remains free to encounter that invitation in their own way.
Returning to the Earth
The body and the Earth meet us with rhythms, limits and needs. Learning to listen to them changes what we ask of ourselves—and what we ask of the world.
We practise reciprocity. We allow rest. We honour endings. We recognise that growth needs nourishment and that life cannot flourish through extraction alone.
The Seed, the Flower and the Mother–Tree of Life give this return its living architecture: rooting, opening and bringing what we recover into the way we live.
Every tree belongs within a forest.
Our sovereignty grows through boundaries and choice; our belonging grows through relationship and shared responsibility.
The spaces we create
Earth Medicine School is a commitment to spaces where people can slow down, feel, question and remain the authority on their own experience.
Consent, pacing and the freedom to decline are part of the work.
Spiritual meaning is explored with discernment. No interpretation is imposed. No one has to surrender their judgment to belong.
Ritual helps us mark a threshold. Integration asks how we cross it in daily life.
What we reclaim becomes visible in how we speak, receive, set boundaries, use power, care for others and participate in our communities.
Personal transformation carries responsibility beyond the self.
We gather what was scattered.
We make room for what was silenced.
We tend the flame of a life that can be lived more fully.
The medicine cannot be erased.
We give it room to live.
